  • ■ Electrophysiological examinations and ablation therapy require biplane projections.
    Since fluoroscopy is performed for an extended period, the system is provided with a wide range of dose-reduction functions.
  • ■ In pediatric cardiology, biplane imaging is frequently employed to reduce the amount of contrast medium administered to the patient.
    In recent years, the multiaxis arm and cradle catheterization table has contributed significantly to the "hybrid approach", in which surgical procedures and catheter intervention are performed at the same time.
