Three Toshiba Medical Products Win Good Design Awards

Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation has won a Good Design Award 2016 for Aquilion ONE™/GENESIS Edition, Vantage Galan™ 3T, and Aplio™ i-series in the category of medical equipment and facilities. The Good Design Award is a comprehensive design-promotion system hosted by the Japan Institute for Design Promotion, a public interest incorporated foundation which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. Among the four products that received the award, Aplio™ i-series will be exhibited at the Good Design Exhibition 2016, which will be held from October 28 to November 3 at Tokyo Midtown.

Advanced technologies enable a compact MRI system. Highly evaluated for reduction of examination noise by up to 97% and significant reduction of examination times. Elimination of need to perform extensive construction work for installation is an advantage. Beautifully finished design is also highly appreciated.

Premium Class Ultrasound Diagnostic System Aplio i-series

Aplio i-series
State-of-the-art functionality for the operating panel, which can be moved freely in the vertical and horizontal directions. Sophisticated overall design of the diagnostic ultrasound system as a unit.
